The courses are regularly offered twice a year in German at our office in Stuttgart. English courses
or individual training can be arranged separately.
PERMAS workshop Quality Assurance in FE Analysis
The course gives an overview on the different sources for errors in modelling and analysis. One focus is the detection of errors using appropriate tools in PERMAS. Moreover, UCI commands for extended examination of results are covered.
- Topics:
- Introduction: errors in modelling assumptions, possible checks with pre/postprocessor and PERMAS, model verification by simple analyses, tensions and strain, PERMAS functions for extended evaluation: cutting force, partsum, evaluation, xydata, modal participaton factor, exercises
- Prerequisite:
- Basic knowledge in data input and UCI, for beginners and advanced users alike.
