6. INTES Technology Day (11 April 2019)

Alternating with the PERMAS User Meeting, the Technology Day could be established, which every two years presents relevant topics of PERMAS and VisPER applications.

For this year's sixth INTES Technology Day on April 11, 2019, we welcomed over 70 guests from 8 countries in our office.

The lectures by INTES employees and two guest lectures met with great interest. A wide range of topics was covered, which alone clarify the lecture titles:
- Contact analysis with large translations and rotations
- Visualization of COP results from contact analysis and MPC
- Application of the Design Wizard
- Modal correlation of test and simulation results
- Numerical analysis of piston secondary motion and piston strength of small 2-stroke engines (Invited lecture Fr. Telsemeyer, Andreas Stihl AG & Co. KG)
- Numerical fatigue life estimation with winLIFE and PERMAS (Invited lecture Prof. Dr. Günter Willmerding, Steinbeis Transferzentrum)

In the subsequent TechTalk, we were able to receive many suggestions from our customers.

After this successful Technology Day we are looking forward to the next event!
