PERMAS workshop Optimization Analysis

The workshop starts with an easy introduction to the optimization possibilities in PERMAS including practical exercises in static and dynamic analysis. The definitions which are necessary for the optimization will be defined in VisPER (visualize PERMAS). Working with VisPER will be interactive. Advanced settings for the optimization will be also done on the basis of several examples.

1st day (OPT-1):

Introduction into parameter optimization, UCI, data input, sizing, usage of different analysis types, GUI support by VisPER, exercises
 
2nd day (OPT-2):
Topics:
Shape optimization with design elements, UCI, data input, sizing problems, GUI support, exercises
 
Prerequisite:
For the second day (OPT-2) knowledge of day 1 is expected.
