Fatigue analysis - integrated and efficient
Fatigue strength examines the influence of cyclic and static loads on the service life of a component. The fatigue life calculation integrated into PERMAS for high-cycle loading based on stresses extends classical strength analysis using the finite element method. This training course introduces the integrated fatigue life calculation, which combines solver, fatigue assessment, and data storage in a common database. Its application is demonstrated and explained through practical exercises using simple examples.
